ASI Renovations is a certified Living Wage Employer by the Tompkins County Workers’ Center, bringing the total to 84 Living Wage-Certified employers countywide. From concept to completion, ASI emphasizes green-construction practices and sustainability, utilizing local labor and local vendors whenever possible.
“We firmly believe that in order to build stronger communities, we must first build stronger lives; paying a livable wage helps to achieve both, ”said Herbert Dwyer, President and CEO of ASI Renovations.
The Living Wage Employer Certification Program was initiated by The Tompkins County Workers’ Center to publicly recognize and reward those who pay a living wage, with the goal of providing a living wage for every working person in Tompkins County.
“By providing every employee a living wage, you show your integrity and leadership in the community, you create a positive image in the minds of current and potential customers, you strengthen relationships between staff members and management, and you raise employee morale and productivity and encourage employee loyalty,” said Pete Meyers, Coordinator of the T.C. Workers’ Center.
